More about northern Coldwater:
North Coldwater is a haven for local residents shopping for groceries
and other goods in a less hectic environment with emphasis on friendly,
hometown service. Historically, this area was the home of Coldwater's
first major retail expansion as the downtown area ran out of room in
the 1960s. Even with the arrival of Interstate 69 in 1967, North
Coldwater continued to serve as one of the city's busiest commercial
areas until Wal-Mart's arrival transformed the entire city in 1990. As
this region now establishes a new identity for itself, don't expect the
latest fancy façades, but instead look for friendly faces,
experienced staff, and hometown values.
