Lamp Post Christian Bookstore is one of those stores that make you feel calm and welcome when you walk through the door. The staff is friendly and always helpful. We had so much fun shopping at Museum Gallery. Both of us were impressed the eclectic group of treasures arranged in a way that draws you in and makes you want to see every last piece in the store. I loved the handmade scarves and the lovely glass grapes from Hawaii. We both smiled as the treasures from days gone by brought happy memories flooding back. There are beautiful floral arrangements begging to hang in your home and help you bring in the holidays with style. Walking through the store we were struck by the labor of love involved in the creation of this enchanting place. The women working in the store were full of love and stories about all the items in the store. They enjoy telling the stories of the pieces in the store and sharing the things that bring them joy.
If you have not visited Museum Gallery, I highly recommend you stop in soon. I know you will find something in the store to bring a smile to your face and memory to mind. And a perfect gift for that special someone on your Christmas list.

What can I say about Taylor’s Books and More? This place is magical. From the magnificent window displays (a Taylor’s specialty) to the amazing tree made from books behind the counter. 
Walk in the door and the “Book Girls”, as my son calls them, greet you with a smile and a friendly offer of help. They will even take the time to read a favorite story.
For the Christmas holiday, they have 2 trees displayed with names attached to them. While you are in the store, choose a name and purchase a book for a child who otherwise may not have one. The store is offering a 15% discount on all books purchased for this project.
They have books for kids through adult and a really great selection of magazines. There are also great stocking stuffers like book marks, book lights and journals. I would say that if you have never shopped at Taylor’s Books and More you are really missing out on a great experience. The whole Taylor’s family is what home town shopping is all about.
