A Visit to Feeders ‘n Eaters

Our youngest son helped me pay a visit to Feeders ‘n Eaters this week.  Always a fun place to shop, we recieved greetings from Mavrick, the very chatty resident umbrella cockatoo and Little Bits, the store Golden Retriever.  We were given the grand tour by Nina, she and her family own and operate the store.  They have pets with feathers, fur and scales.  You name it, they have it!

We met Sadie, a white Umbrella Cockatoo.  Sadie is looking for a nice family to adopt her.  She is very friendly, even let my little man pet her lovely feathers.  She loves to be held and is very playful.

There were bunnies that my son could not resist.

They also sell all sorts of pet supplies and food. They have a donation box where they collect donations for the Branch County Humane Society and they are doing pet nail trims and the monies from that are going to the Branch County Humane Society as well.  A Pet Pictures with Santa event on Saturday December 22nd to raise money for the 9 Lives Cat Rescue.  Bring your holdable pets in to visit Santa!

Through Christmas they have an Wishing Tree in the lobby with names and wishes from children who otherwise would not have gifts.  The Feeders ‘n Eaters Facebook page has a complete photo album with all the ornaments from the tree if you are interested in buying a gift and dropping it off at the store.

Feeders ‘n Eaters also carries many hand made creations for purchase.  I was especially drawn to the White Bearded Cockatoo hat.

We had a great time at Feeders ‘n Eaters and we even brought home a Hermit Crab, next time I should probably leave my son at home!  LOL!

Visit Feeders ‘n Eaters soon and don’t forget tell them you saw them on MyColdwater.com
